How Insurance Works

First Presbyterian Church New Haven: Sunday, May 10, 2020

In you, Father and Mother of us all, we put our trust. You are our God, and our lives are in your hands. Come, let us worship God! My life flows on in endless song, above earth’s lamentation. I hear the clear, though far-off hymn that hails a new creation. No storm can shake my inmost calm while to that Rock I’m clinging. Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth, how can I keep from singing? Through all the tumult and the strife, I hear that music ringing. It finds an echo in my soul. How can I keep from singing? No storm can shake my inmost calm while to that Rock I’m clinging. Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth, how can I keep from singing? The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart, a fountain ever springing! All things are mine since I am his! How can I keep from singing? No storm can shake my inmost calm while to that Rock I’m clinging. Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth, how can I keep from singing? we pray for your peace that surpasses understanding to settle with us. we pray for your compassion to accompany us. we pray for your call of faithfulness to give us purpose. we pray for your abiding presence to wipe away our tears and assure us of your love and tender grace. we pray for your resurrection power to bring healing and wholeness to all your children. And bring us a greeting of peace. Amen. “Do not be afraid.” “Peace be with you.” Thanks be to God. Psalm 31: 1-5, 15-16 John 14: 1-14 Text “GIVE” to (203) 689-7515 Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes, Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days,
Almighty, victorious, thy great name we praise. Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might: Thy justice, like mountains high soaring above;
Thy clouds, which are fountains of goodness and love. Thou reignest in glory; thou dwellest in light.
Thine angels adore thee, all veiling their sight. All praise we would render; O help us to see
‘tis only the splendor of light hideth thee! Hallelujah! Amen.
